I am very proud to be headteacher here at Webheath Primary School. I have a wide range of experience within education and across a range of settings. I am passionate about ensuring that the children have access to the highest quality teaching and have a wide range of enrichment opportunities that bring their learning alive. I want the children to leave Webheath as confident and articulate individuals ready to make their mark on the world.
Outside of school, I am usually found walking my dog or pottering about in the garden.

I began teaching in 2003 and have enjoyed lots of different challenges throughout my time at Webheath. I enjoy teaching all subjects but English and P.E. are my specialisms. I love working at Webheath and supporting all children to be the very best that they can be, regardless of their starting point. Outside of school, I enjoy playing netball and going for a run, although I think my marathon days are behind me!

Apart from seeing lots of smiley faces everyday, my favourite thing is watching the children have those 'light bulb' moments when they realise they can do it and they build their self belief. Outside of school, I enjoy time with my family and taking my dog, called Rosie, on long walks over the fields.

I qualified as a NNEB Nursery Nurse in 1989 and have been working in Pre-schools and Nurseries ever since!

In more recent years I gained a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood and Early Years Teacher Status. I am passionate about Early Years and learning through play. I have been working at Webheath since 2011 and the nursery is my favourite place to be.

Every day is different and just when I think I've seen it all, the children teach me something new! I have two grown up children, who both came to Webheath, and in my spare time I enjoy researching local history and family trees.

I am one of the Reception teachers at Webheath. I am very passionate about early education. It is uplifting to be part of a curriculum which is inspired by capturing the children’s interests and promoting a love of learning. I believe in Reception we are the foundation to engaging your children into enjoying and taking control of their learning. Whilst at school I enjoy getting creative in the art area and spending time in the mud kitchen trying out new recipes served by the children. I want your children’s Reception year at Webheath to be happy and full of wonderful memories of make new friends, getting creative, being curious, enjoying lots of stories, learning new skills, solving problems and so much more. It is a privilege to watch the children at Webheath achieve in so many areas of their learning. I am very fortunate to work with a team of staff that will go over and beyond to provide the children with the best education.

I have taught different year groups in Key Stage One and Two, but Reception is an extra special place to teach. It's so rewarding to see the progress the children make in such a short space of time. Their enthusiasm and eagerness to learn is a wonderful thing to be a part of every day. When I'm not working, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, cook and travel to new places.

I am a year 2 teacher at Webheath and began teaching here in April 2023. I have been a teacher for 6 years and have worked with children in all year groups across the primary setting. I am passionate about music and currently lead music here at Webheath. Outside of school, I am a musician and play flute, saxophone, piano and love to sing too. I have been a part of many different choirs, orchestras and bands throughout my life and love passing on my knowledge to the children I teach.

I have been teaching at Webheath Primary School since January 2008.
I am currently a teacher in Year 2 and the art lead.
I love teaching as every day is different! I love to create enjoyable and fun learning experiences within the classroom that creates happy memories for the children I teach that will hopefully last a lifetime.
Outside of school I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I am a doting grandmother to 3 beautiful granddaughters who I love playing and having fun with. I have a white Boxer dog called Ghost who loves to go on long walks and roll in muddy puddles!

My favourite part of teaching is encouraging every child to be confident, proud and motivated within their learning - ensuring that each and every child knows that they are able succeed and flourish in whatever they put their mind to. My favourite subjects to teach are English, art, music and history.
When not teaching I enjoy spending my time with my family, being outdoors, swimming and also reading lots of books.

Outside of school, I spend most of my time with my little girl getting outside as much as we can. I am also a huge Liverpool fan!

In my spare time I'm an avid reader (I love escaping in a good book) and enjoy arts and crafts.

I currently work part time in the School office, as historically my career has been administration and customer service based.  I've previously worked in a high school supporting social and emotional wellbeing in secondary aged students, which led to my degree in Counselling.  I now combine these two roles.  My hobbies have gone out of the window, to be replaced by 'football mum' and 'dance mum' duties, which I wouldn't change for the world!

I have been working at Webheath Academy Primary School since September 2023 and am thoroughly enjoying seeing the children in a different environment to the classroom, having taught for over 25 years. Outside of school, my two teenage daughters keep me very busy, and we enjoy going on family walks in the countryside and playing board games together. I also enjoy cooking and all outdoor pursuits. In my spare time, I love to travel and am lucky enough to have visited many countries, mainly in Europe and Asia. I also like to go to the theatre (musicals are my favourite shows), the cinema and attend live music events.

Taking a change of direction in career from finance to education has seen me volunteering at first schools in Redditch and Droitwich Spa, and has lead me to my current role as a wrap around care practitioner at Webheath Academy, which I began in February 2024. I thoroughly enjoy my job, as every day is different! Any spare time I have is often spent with my teenage daughters and extended family. We like nothing more than a shopping trip to Manchester or London, visiting theme parks and catching up on the latest tv shows.

I have been working at Webheath Academy since September 2023. Prior to this I was a postman for 10 yrs. Previous employment was in the construction trade. I love working here it's a great environment to be part of. My spare time is spent with wife and 3 daughters and my crazy Dachsund Ralph and going to the Villa. UTV
