Year 1 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
The Year 1 Class Teacher at Webheath Academy Primary School is responsible for planning, delivering and assessing high-quality teaching and learning for pupils in Year 1. The postholder will fulfil the professional responsibilities of a teacher in accordance with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and meet the expectations of the Teachers’ Standards.
Webheath Academy is a successful two-form-entry primary school with preschool provision. The postholder will support the delivery of a broad, ambitious and inclusive curriculum that enables every child to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally.
The postholder will contribute positively to the school’s vision of ‘To be the best that we can be’ and will actively promote the values of Zest, Kindness, Respect, Nurture and Integrity through teaching, relationships and daily interactions.
This is a fixed-term maternity cover position
