Mrs Matthews
Wrap Around Care Practitioner & Midday Supervisor
I started at Webheath Academy in December 2023, having worked in children’s nurseries for over 30 years. For the first 18 years of my career, I worked closely tracking the development and learning of pre-school aged children. I then spent the remaining 14 years caring for and nurturing our youngest babies. Over these 30 plus years, I have gained many skills and varied experiences, which have developed over time. I am now enjoying working with a wider age range of children, as I continue using my knowledge and skills to explore building solid relationships with the children in my care. I have four children of my own, as well as 6 grandchildren and in my spare time I enjoy going on outings to parks, bowling and the seaside with the family. I also like to practise Pilates, go walking and visit different towns and cities around Britain.

Miss Haines
Wrap Around Care Practitioner
I have worked at Webheath Academy Primary School since 2001. My first role was as a teaching assistant, mainly in Early Years and Nursery, and I then joined the wrap around care team as a practitioner. My job now is solely working in wrap around care, which I have done for over 20 years. In my spare time, I enjoy meeting up with my family and friends for meals out and day trips. I also love musical theatre and am an avid reader.
