The Friends of Webheath

Who are we?

The Friends of Webheath are a fund raising organisation supported by volunteering parents,
school colleagues and members of our community. We are a friendly bunch who are always
keen to welcome new people to join in our activities.

What is our aim?

Our aim is to raise funds through running different events throughout the year to support
and enhance the children’s experience of school life.

What types of events do we hold?

We run several exciting events throughout the year such as the Christmas fair, summer fair,
school discos and chocolate tombola plus many more.

How often do we meet?

We have 3-4 meetings each year which are held at Webheath Village Hall. Everyone is
welcome at the meetings and we love to see new faces and hear new ideas for events and
different ways to enrich our children’s school lives.
You can become as involved as you like, we always welcome volunteers to support us from
something as simple as helping to collect bottles for our tombola to running stalls at the
events. Any contribution no matter how small is gratefully received and helps us to make
the events that our children all love happen.

What have we raised funds for in the past?

Funds raised by Friends have previously helped school to buy iPads, new books, learning
resources for year 1, a secure gate for the sensory garden, wooden playground equipment
and theatre productions.
