I specialised in Special Education Needs and have a Masters in working with any age group with specific learning difficulties and have qualifications for both Dyslexia and Dyscalculia teaching support. I am married with three children and a very mad dog who keeps me very busy.

I began teaching in 2003 and have enjoyed lots of different challenges throughout my time at Webheath. I enjoy teaching all subjects but English and P.E. are my specialisms. I love working at Webheath and supporting all children to be the very best that they can be, regardless of their starting point. Outside of school, I enjoy playing netball and going for a run, although I think my marathon days are behind me!

I have been at Webheath for three years, but have been teaching for many more years than I can remember, in both small and large settings. I really enjoy learning in the outdoors and going down to the forest. I enjoy inspiring children to read following my own love of reading. I love animals and can often be found visiting animals at the weekend. My favourite animal is a penguin. Reception is such a great year, and I look forward to meeting each new cohort and learning in fun and exciting ways.

I am the SENCo in school, and enjoy working with children in all of the different year groups. I especially enjoy teaching PE, because I like to be active and before and after school you can often see me running around the parks in Redditch. I am also enjoying teaching the children in Year 1- learning, creating and growing together with them.

I've been teaching at Webheath for many years across Key Stage 1 and 2; and I absolutely love it! Apart from seeing lots of smiley faces everyday, my favourite thing is watching the children have those 'light bulb' moments when they realise they can do it and they build their self belief. Outside of school, I enjoy time with my family and taking my dog, called Rosie, on long walks over the fields.

Within my teaching career I have taught across both Key Stage 1 and 2, and have now arrived at Webheath, keen to teach in Year 4. From the age of eight, I knew I was destined to become a teacher; passionate in making every child’s school journey a happy and successful experience. I enjoy teaching the whole curriculum, but particularly, I love to read, put my maths skills into practice and be creative within art. Outside of school, I continue to show my creativity by baking and decorating cakes.

I am one of the Reception teachers at Webheath. I am very passionate about early education. It is uplifting to be part of a curriculum which is inspired by capturing the children’s interests and promoting a love of learning. I believe in Reception we are the foundation to engaging your children into enjoying and taking control of their learning. Whilst at school I enjoy getting creative in the art area and spending time in the mud kitchen trying out new recipes served by the children. I want your children’s Reception year at Webheath to be happy and full of wonderful memories of make new friends, getting creative, being curious, enjoying lots of stories, learning new skills, solving problems and so much more. It is a privilege to watch the children at Webheath achieve in so many areas of their learning. I am very fortunate to work with a team of staff that will go over and beyond to provide the children with the best education.

I am a year 1 teacher at Webheath and began teaching here in April 2023. I have been a teacher for 6 years and have worked with children in all year groups across the primary setting. I am passionate about music and currently lead music here at Webheath. Outside of school, I am a musician and play flute, saxophone, piano and love to sing too. I have been a part of many different choirs, orchestras and bands throughout my life and love passing on my knowledge to the children I teach.

I am a year 3 teacher at Webheath. My favourite subjects are PE, Science and Maths. I enjoy making lessons as active and practical as possible. My favourite part about teaching is helping to build children’s confidence and academic ability through a positive mental attitude. Outside of school, you will usually find me spending time with family or doing something physically active such as running.

I am lucky enough to be 9 years into my teaching career and my 6th year teaching Year 4. One of my favourite subjects to teach is History since I am fascinated by how people lived in the past. I also enjoy building children's confidence in Maths as I found it tricky at school myself! In my spare time, I am a keen cook and enjoy long walks with my cheeky, little dog Timmy.

I started teaching in 2019 and I have a true passion for my job, seeing children achieve in areas they find difficult and the confidence they feel when they finally say I can do it’ is one of the best parts of my job. I enjoy making the learning fun for children I teach. My favourite subject is Art as I love to get creative but I also enjoy English and being creative in my writing. Outside of work I like to keep fit and exercise by going to the gym or for a swim. I am a true animal lover and would love to be able to bring my pet rabbit, Bonnie into my classroom one day.

I am currently a teacher at Webheath Primary. My favourite thing about teaching is finding new ways to be creative in all lessons and my favourite lessons are art & PE! When I'm not at school I enjoy spending time with all of my animals - I have a lot of pets!

This is my 8th year teaching at Webheath. I enjoy teaching maths and geography as there is always something new to learn! At the weekends, I'm often found watching my son play rugby or following his favourite football team.

You will see me in lots of classes around the school, as I work with the children whilst their teachers are having PPA, management or curriculum time. Mainly based in Reception and Key Stage 1, I really enjoy helping the children develop into young readers, writers and mathematicians, while discovering their own unique personalities. When I am not at school I enjoy reading and visiting National Trust properties with my family.

I began my teaching career some 33 years ago in Wiltshire. I moved to Worcestershire after my husband's job move to Birmingham. I have taught across the Primary Age range and am currently supporting in a variety of Year groups to allow classteachers time for management, PPA and subject leadership. I love the enthusiasm of Primary age children and those 'light bulb' moments when they suddenly understand something they previously found tricky! It makes it so worthwhile. In my spare time I enjoy going to the theatre, knitting projects, pilates, yoga and taking Stanley, my springer spaniel on long walks.

I qualified as a NNEB Nursery Nurse in 1989 and have been working in Pre-schools and Nurseries ever since!
In more recent years I gained a BA Hons degree in Early Childhood and Early Years Teacher Status. I am passionate about Early Years and learning through play. I have been working at Webheath since 2011 and the nursery is my favourite place to be.
Every day is different and just when I think I've seen it all, the children teach me something new! I have two grown up children, who both came to Webheath, and in my spare time I enjoy researching local history and family trees.

What I love about this role is that I feel a huge sense of achievement when helping to support each child on their learning journey and it brings me great joy seeing the difference that I can help to make to their progression and development. In my spare time I'm an avid reader (I love escaping in a good book) and enjoy arts and crafts.

I began working at Webheath in 2009 when my own children were still at the school. I find supporting the children with their learning very rewarding, and have spent time with most year groups over the years. On a personal note, you may see me out and about in the local area, either running, walking or cycling. I do enjoy the outdoors!

My main role is to provide pastoral support across the school through social and emotional interventions. I am trained as an ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) and Family Support Worker. As an adopter of three children, I have a lot of experience and training in Attention Theory. I have worked in education for over 20 years, previously as a Lecturer in Higher Education and more recently in Primary Schools. I am also involved in music in the school, leading Singing Assemblies and co-leading the choir.
